Daughter requests well-being check on mother after alleged attack

A Leesburg man was arrested after his daughter asked for a well-being check on her mother due to allegations of an argument turned physical.

An officer responded to an undisclosed Leesburg residence regarding a well-being check around 11:05 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The victim’s daughter requested a check on her mother due to her stating that she and her father, 60-year-old Ronald Aaron Parker, were in a physical altercation.

After meeting the victim, she advised that she and Parker were in a verbal argument the night before that led to a little pushing and shoving. Her daughter had told dispatch that the victim said she could not move because she thought her ribs were broken. So, the officer asked her to show him her ribs, the report said.

The officer did not see any indications of broken ribs as she moved freely. He did notice a bruise on her back and asked what it was from, but she was not aware she had a bruise, the report said…
