The public is being urged to come forward with any information regarding a possible law enforcement impersonator responsible for a robbery.
At about 6 a.m. Thursday the LCSO received a complaint about a robbery involving a possible law enforcement impersonator. The victim reported seeing a white sedan parked on the side of County Road 48 in Yalaha while he was driving to work around 5 a.m. The victim noticed the white sedan pull onto the roadway behind him and turn on what he described as flashing blue lights mounted inside the car.
Believing he was being stopped by law enforcement, the victim pulled to the side of the road in the area of County Road 48 and Lime Avenue. He described the driver of the vehicle as rapidly exiting the car and walking quickly to his window; he noticed the unknown person, described as a black male approximately 6 feet tall, wearing dark clothing and a ski mask, approach his window holding a handgun…
