An Apopka man was arrested for driving with a suspended license when an officer learned he was a repeat traffic offender.
An officer was informed of a black BMW headed southbound on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 around 2:50 p.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department. The registered owner, later identified as 32-year-old Talik Meshak Morgan, had a suspended license.
The officer ran the vehicle’s tag to confirm the hit and conducted a traffic stop around U.S. Hwy. 27 and Piccola Cutoff Road. When he approached Morgan to ask for his driver’s license, Morgan admitted it was currently suspended. The officer instead collected his insurance paperwork and registration, the report said.
Once back in his patrol vehicle, the officer ran Morgan’s information to confirm his identity. This revealed multiple suspensions and cancellations of his license from 2018 through 2025. These included failures to appear, failures to pay reinstatement fees, criminal failures to pay and a habitual traffic offender charge, the report said…
