A Leesburg man was arrested when multiple narcotics were found in his vehicle after he hit the side of a church.
Officers responded to a crash, later found to involve 26-year-old James Bing, at Iglesia Pentecostal M.I. ROCA, located at 2310 W Main St., around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. A church employee was watching cameras remotely and saw a vehicle hit the side of the building a few minutes prior.
Upon arrival, the officers saw a beige Hyundai against the wall on the west side of the church. Bing sat in the driver’s seat but did not seem alert or awake. His head was tilted to the side as an officer approached the vehicle, the report said.
As the officer parked in front of the Hyundai, Bing lifted his head and saw him. He immediately began looking around and trying to get out of the vehicle. The officer asked if he had a medical emergency due to his vehicle being over a parking barrier and resting against the side of the church, the report said…
