A man from Mexico was arrested for driving without a license after cardboard debris fell from a trailer he was towing.
An officer saw unsecured cardboard fall off an open-air trailer by Blitchton Road and Northwest 27th Avenue on Wednesday, June 18, according to an arrest report from the Ocala Police Department. He initiated a traffic stop and spoke to the driver, 25-year-old Angel Javier Garcia Olivares of Summerfield.
He handed over his passport and Mexican ID, saying he was working and had been living in Florida for about a year. He used a Chase bank statement to show proof of residency at his home in Summerfield.
