A Leesburg teen was arrested for battery after allegedly kicking a car door into another driver’s face during a road rage incident.
An officer responded to Pep Boys auto shop, located at 1314 W Main St., regarding a disturbance involving 19-year-old Kyla Lee Massey around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
Upon arrival, he met with the female victim who stated she and her friend were driving west on U.S. Hwy. 441 when she had to switch lanes due to hers being closed. She changed lanes and moved in front of a dark grey Chevrolet Tahoe. The driver, later identified as Massey, got visibly upset and drove the front of her vehicle very close to the back of the victim’s white 2009 Honda passenger car, the report said.
Massey then went around the victim, and as she passed, she cut into the victim’s lane and ran her off the road. If the victim did not react in time, she would have hit her vehicle. Both vehicles came to a stop in the turn lanes at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 441 and Radio Road, the report said…
