OCALA, Fla. – The family of Ajike Owens, the Ocala mother of four who was shot over a neighbor dispute in 2023, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Susan Lorincz on June 10, according to court documents.
Lorincz, who was arrested in the June 2023 shooting death of Owens, was found guilty of manslaughter in August 2024. The shooting happened after Lorincz threw roller skates and an umbrella at Owens’ children, prosecutors said, which Lorincz denied.
