A jealous man was jailed after knocking the dentures out of his gal pal’s mouth.
Emmit Erving, 69, of Wildwood, was arrested on a charge of battery following the alleged altercation which occurred in the wee hours Saturday at a home in the 500 block of Gray Street, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
Erving became upset with his female friend of 12 years because she had been “staring at other men,” the report said. Erving, who stands 6 feet tall, “got upset and punched her in the mouth with a closed fist, causing her dentures to fall out.” Police were called to the altercation and when they arrived on the scene, officers found the woman “had visible red marks on the inside of her lip and a small cut.”…
