The Florida Lottery recently announced that Ruth Cain, of Brooksville, claimed a $2 million top prize from the Triple Jackpot scratch-off game.
The Central Florida woman chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,209,700.
The Hernando County woman purchased her winning ticket from RaceTrac, located at 30480 Cortez Boulevard in Brooksville. The retailer received a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
