A Lake County woman was arrested for battery after allegedly swinging on her son while he argued with her boyfriend.
An officer responded to a disturbance, later found to involve 70-year-old Maderline Lallave, at an undisclosed apartment complex in Lake County at 2 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The caller advised that there was a group of people fighting there.
Upon arrival, the officer met Lallave’s son whose shirt collar was ripped on the right side, exposing his right shoulder. He went up to the officer’s patrol vehicle and stated there was an altercation between himself, his mother and her boyfriend, the report said.
The officer saw he had several bright red scratches on the right side of his face. They looked fresh and bled slightly. There was also a small red mark under his right eye, and he complained of ankle pain that he sustained during the altercation, the report said…
