A Leesburg woman was arrested for battery after allegedly slapping her husband multiple times while accusing him of cheating.
A deputy responded to a battery at an undisclosed Leesburg residence around 11:15 p.m. Monday, July 21 according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, he met with the husband of 56-year-old Katrina Lynn Minier-Creighton.
He advised that she woke him up in their bedroom by yelling at him. She accused him of cheating and grabbed ahold of his left arm. She let go, and during the midst of arguing, she again grabbed his arm after grabbing his chin to forcefully turn his head toward her. Each time she grabbed him, she dug her nails into him, the report said.
The deputy saw cuts on the husband’s arm consistent with nail punctures due to their pattern. There were two sets of these, one on the bicep and the other on the outer forearm, the report said…
