Disruptive woman in Hummer arrested at 7-Eleven on Historic Side of The Villages

A disruptive woman was arrested after her unwelcome return to a 7-Eleven on the Historic Side of The Villages.

Officers responded to the 7-Eleven regarding 60-year-old Shirley Martha Rogers who was at a gas pump in her white Hummer around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

Managers advised that she had come into the store, yelling and throwing items. They wanted her trespassed, so the officers told her she would be taken to jail if she came back. She stated she understood and left the area, the report said.

However, at 6:18 a.m., Rogers returned to the gas station. Officers arrived to see her pushing her Hummer backward from a parking spot, the report said…
