NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. (WCJB) – Investigators determined an 18-year-old recruit from Ocala who died at a Navy training site in Illinois committed suicide.
According to our affiliate in Chicago, first responders arrived at a firing range at the Naval Station Great Lakes on Wednesday afternoon and found Kayshawn Wilkerson, 18, with a gunshot wound to the head. He died at the scene.
