Former E-ONE tech claims manager used ‘n-word,’ made ‘race-based’ comments in discrimination lawsuit

A former employee at an Ocala company that manufactures emergency vehicles claims he was subjected to a “persistent pattern of harassment because of his race,” citing his manager’s use of the “n-word,” repeated instances of calling the employee “island boy,” and derogatory remarks made about his accent.

Attorneys representing Sean Semple filed the lawsuit against REV RTC, Inc., in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County on July 29.
