A Lady Lake shopper was arrested after allegedly pushing a woman’s forehead and pulling her hair for almost hitting her with her car at Publix.
An officer responded to Publix, located at 717 N 14th St., regarding a battery at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Upon arrival, he saw 26-year-old Kaylen Shonkia Johnson in a silver Ford in the parking lot.
He approached Johnson, whose vehicle was on, while she spoke to a witness, the report said. He overheard her saying the victim closed her vehicle door on her leg. She then turned toward him and stated, “I have the marking on my pants of her closing her door on me!”
Johnson showed the officer a white marking on the lower part of her black pants. She also stated she pulled the victim’s hair after she closed the door on her leg, the report said…
