It’s very depressing in Ocala lately. Ocala has beautiful big oak trees with moss, lots of wildlife and beautiful springs, but now some of that is being replaced by cookie-cutter houses whose lawns are being sprayed with pesticides.
We also have fake communities with names like Forest Glen that don’t have many trees and no forests; just houses with zero lot lines and no native trees and shrubs to feed the wildlife. All of this affects the wildlife, the springs and the environment. Stop building against the environment and go organic.
