If you didn’t read the first rant, here you go. This is not intended to provoke, insult, or otherwise humiliate anyone or any group of people, or any area of The Villages. This is simply some observations, intended to give you a thought or chuckle for the day. Enjoy!
Xfinity probably has the absolute worst customer service ever! I stand corrected. There is NO customer service at all. If you call them, you are relegated to talking with a computer. But I must admit they do have a sense of humor. I got a call from Xfinity the other day (from a real person) to see if I would be interested in signing up for their cell phone service since I already had cable. Really? I couldn’t help myself. I started laughing hysterically at the rep on the phone. Finally he asked what was so funny. I just told him if their phone customer service was as horrible as their cable service, I wanted nothing to do with them, and promptly hung up.
This was either brilliant or stupid, I haven’t figured out which. I went one day to play at Truman executive, which is a difficult Level 4 course. I was playing with a couple, a man and woman. After the second hole the man said, “Please excuse my wife, this is only her second time playing.” Really? And you brought her to a Level 4 course, I thought? So I figured that he was either totally stupid for booking this course, or he was trying to discourage her from ever wanting to play golf with him again…
