Trespasser arrested after falling asleep at Spin City Laundry in Leesburg

A Leesburg man will have to appear in court after allegedly falling asleep at Spin City Laundry after he was banned from the premises.

An officer responded to Spin City Laundry, located at 713 Perkins St., regarding a suspicious person at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, according to a case report from the Leesburg Police Department. Dispatch advised that 32-year-old Stephan Johnson was asleep on the property, and the manager wanted him trespassed.

Upon arrival, the officer spoke with Johnson who stated he did not realize he fell asleep at the laundromat. Dispatch then informed the officer that Johnson had been trespassed from the location before, the report said.

Johnson was subsequently issued a misdemeanor citation for trespass after warning. He was summoned to appear in court on Sept. 3, after which he left the area headed south…
