OCALA, FL (352 Today) — The Ocala Police Department officially welcomed 11 new officers and one volunteer police chaplain during a swearing-in ceremony held this week at OPD headquarters. Mayor Ben Marciano administered the oath of office, underscoring the city’s ongoing commitment to public safety and community service.

In addition to the new appointments, several department veterans were recognized for their service and leadership with promotions:
