Work is expected to ramp up soon on the Walmart Neighborhood Market on County Road 466.
This past week Town of Lady Lake Growth Management staffers held a pre-construction meeting with the site work contractors for the new Walmart at the corner of County Road 466 and Cherry Lake Road.
“Although the site has already been graded, and tree protection barriers have been in place for some time now, commencement of the utility construction and horizontal improvements is set to resume within the next two weeks,” said Lady Lake Growth Management Director Thad Carroll.
The main retail space will be 45,603 square feet with a 2,9832-square-foot pharmacy drive-through and a 1,618-square-foot fuel kiosk with a canopy. There will be 232 parking spaces…
