A drunk driving suspect with Natty Light beer cans in his car was arrested in Wildwood.
Larry Paul Luttrell, 76, of Ocala, was driving a black Toyota passenger car at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of U.S. 301 and County Road 462 when an officer noticed the vehicle was swerving in traffic, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
During a traffic stop, Luttrell claimed he was headed “home,” but an officer noted that Luttrell had been southbound on U.S. 301. Luttrell initially denied he had been drinking, but then admitted he’d had “a beer.” He revised that to “three” and then “four” beers. Two open Natty light beer cans were spotted on the floorboard of his vehicle.
