Driver stopped on US 441 claims LCSO deputy totaled her car, caused permanent injuries

A Leesburg woman who filed a lawsuit against the Lake County Sheriff’s Office earlier this month claims she was injured and left without a working vehicle after a deputy crashed into her car while she was stopped at a red light on U.S. Hwy. 441 in Leesburg.

Attorneys representing Jessica Amanda James filed the lawsuit against the sheriff’s office in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Lake County on August 12.
