An inspector found high-priority violations for the third month in a row at a country club in The Villages.
An inspector paid a visit Aug. 28 to Havana Country Club and once again found foods at unhealthy temperatures, according to an inspection report on file with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Food that should have been stored at 41 degrees was found at warmer temperatures, including raw salmon at 49 degrees, raw haddock at 49 degrees, meatloaf at 48 degrees, raw shrimp at 48 degrees and short ribs at 49 degrees. The inspector noted this was a repeat violation. In July, an inspector found food temperature violations, including raw fish filets at 50 degrees, as opposed to the required 41 degrees.
