OCALA, FL.(352 Today) — A bay mare was found roaming along Highway 27 near the 7300 block of NW 121st Avenue in Ocala earlier today, according to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Agricultural Unit.
Deputies responded to reports of a loose horse and safely took the mare into custody without incident. The horse is now being cared for by the MCSO Agricultural Unit while officials work to identify and contact her owner.
