A student was allegedly found to be in possession of a firearm while riding a bus en route to an Ocala elementary school on Monday morning.
Ocala Police Department officers responded to the intersection of SW 14th Street and SW 27th Avenue this morning after receiving a report of a juvenile in possession of a firearm on a school bus en route to College Park Elementary School.
According to a statement posted by OPD just after 9 a.m., the firearm was safely recovered by law enforcement authorities and the child was taken into custody “without incident.”…
