A Villager turned herself in after she was caught on camera in a shoplifting case.
Jodi Lynn Edelbrock, 60, of the Village of Dabney, went to the KB Home & Garden store at Magnolia Plaza at about 11 a.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department.
Edelbrock selected a candle that looked like a Christmas tree and put it in a bag she was carrying. The candle was valued at $69.99. She proceeded to the checkout register and paid for an item valued at $18.18. She used a credit card to make the purchase. She made no attempt to pay for the candle.
The incident was caught on surveillance and the footage was shown to police. An officer was able to access the contact information from Edelbrock’s credit card. The officer called Edlebrock on Saturday and she agreed to surrender herself at the Wildwood Police Department…
