Lanes on State Road 200 and Interstate 75 will be temporarily closed at various points this week as construction crews stripe, install new signs, and relocate gopher tortoises, among other tasks.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, motorists should expect single-lane closures on northbound I-75, at exit 354 (U.S. Highway 27) in Ocala on Tuesday, September 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The closure will be in effect to allow for lighting repair work.
There will be additional northbound, shoulder closures from County Road 484 to SR 200 for clearing and grubbing gopher tortoise relocation. Those closures will take place every day this week through Friday, September 12, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day…
