An inspector ordered a “stop sale” of foods found at unhealthy temperatures at a Mexican restaurant in The Villages.
An inspector paid a visit this past Monday to Fiesta Grande Mexican Grill at Colony Plaza and found food stored at temperatures greater than the required 41 degrees, according to an inspection report on file with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. There were refried beans at 41 degrees, ground beef at 54 degrees and cooked chicken at 46 degrees. Storing food at above 41 degrees can promote bacterial growth.
