Man faces five counts of aggravated assault for pointing handgun at construction workers

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A man is in the Marion County jail, accused of pointing a gun at construction workers and threatening to kill them.

Sheriff’s deputies say Jeremiah Brooks, 26, was riding a dirt bike in a blocked-off area at the intersection of Pine Road and Pine Radial in Ocala.

Workers say they threw a notebook at Brooks to get his attention so he wouldn’t hurt himself because of a large hole nearby…
