A Leesburg woman was arrested for allegedly throwing an end table at her lover after finding messages from other women on his phone.
An officer responded to a disturbance at an undisclosed Leesburg residence at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Upon arrival, he met 59-year-old Virginia Louise Clawson.
She advised that she confronted her romantic partner after noticing multiple messages from other women on his phone. He began yelling and arguing with her about the messages, and he smashed the phone. She responded by grabbing items around her and throwing them at her vehicle. She denied touching or hitting him with any of the thrown items, the report said.
Her partner corroborated that Clawson confronted him about the messages on their shared phone. However, he stated she got enraged, and they both began to argue. He walked away from her, and she started throwing objects around the yard at him, the report said…
