66-Year-Old Florida Man Sentenced for Drug Trafficking

A 66-year-old Florida man was recently convicted and sentenced for drug trafficking.

66-year-old Tyrone Leroy Washington was convicted of two counts of Trafficking in Fentanyl, Trafficking in Cocaine, and Possession with the Intent to Sell within 1000 feet of a School after pleading no contest.

He was sentenced to 20 years in the Florida Department of Corrections by Judge Joel E. Fritton.

Washington’s charges stemmed from an investigation initiated in 2024 by the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO). The investigation revealed drug trafficking activities involving Washington.
