A Leesburg woman was arrested for disorderly intoxication after she started yelling in her front yard about her husband having “another woman.”
Deputies responded to the residence of 50-year-old Heather Marie Singletary, located at 6745 Fern Cir., Leesburg, regarding a verbal disturbance at 1:25 a.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. Dispatch advised that a nearby neighbor heard a loud argument in the front yard of the home, which woke them up.
Upon arrival, the deputies found Singletary standing at the front door of the residence, screaming, “Call the police! Help!” There were three deputies standing directly in front of her while she yelled, causing a disturbance to the other neighbors, the report said.
Her husband stated they had been drinking and arguing about personal issues. She got upset about “another woman” and started yelling to cause a scene. The deputies tried to talk to Singletary, too, but she said the incident happened because her husband “had other women,” the report said…
