Me and my husband Tim have been coming to The Villages for the past three summers to find our forever neighborhood while I was still working (just retired). We have used airbnbs twice and did a lifestyle visit. We are thankful to the airbnbs we have used because they have given us an opportunity to explore The Villages at a reasonable price with a golf cart and find the area we want our forever home to be in. We do however agree that all airbnbs should follow the 55+ regulations no different than if you moved there. We also agree that there should be a fee for guest passes. Paying $10 per pass would give the recreation centers and pools a fund for repairs that would not go back to the residence.
