A Villager who is relying on a walker left his rehabilitation appointment to find an uncomfortable parking situation.
The man with the walker on Monday left Lake Centre for Rehab at Lake Sumter Landing and found a golf cart wedged in the handicap service zone.
“He also encroached on my handicap parking space. I needed my walker for today’s physical therapy session. When I came out of the session, I had great difficulty returning the walker to my van,” said the Villager.
Those zones are designated for the handicapped who need a little extra space to swing open doors or roll down ramps. Parking in those zones can make for an unnecessary obstacle for the handicapped…
