Boyfriend allegedly threatens to punch girlfriend for being too loud in shower

A Leesburg man was arrested for assault after allegedly threatening to punch his girlfriend for being too loud in the shower.

An officer responded to a battery at an undisclosed Leesburg residence at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. The girlfriend of 35-year-old Vincent Emanuel Fabian advised that he was causing a verbal dispute. During the call, Fabian took her phone and said she battered him.

Upon arrival, the officer found the girlfriend in the street near the residence. She looked distraught and was holding a pair of scissors in her hand. She stated Fabian was upset and yelling at her due to her taking a shower later at night and being too loud, the report said.

During the argument, he started calling her slurs, and she ignored him. This made him more upset, and he threatened to punch her. His comments scared her, so she ran into their landlord’s bedroom, the report said…
