Ocala woman arrested for Facebook threat to commit ‘mass murder’ at high school

A 30-year-old woman was arrested by Ocala police after she allegedly threatened in a Facebook post to conduct a “mass murder” at a local high school.

On Wednesday, September 24, the Ocala Police Department received a report that a Facebook user had made a threatening post targeting Meadowbrook Academy (4741 SW 20th Street in Ocala), according to OPD.

The arrest report stated that at around 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning, a Facebook account belonging to Oksana Sophia Deputat had allegedly posted the following message: “I was so (expletive) close to sh*oting up Meadowbrook academy.”…
