Ocklawaha Man Arrested on Firearms, Endangerment Charges

OCKLAWAHA, FL (352today.com) – Most family quarrels don’t involve a shotgun.

However, this past weekend on Sept. 27, 2025, at a residence in Ocklawaha, an all-da, argument, refusing to fix a vehicle, demeaning comments and less-than-pleasant demeanors led to one of the occupants of the dwelling, Edward Graden Bradley, 67, with being charged with seven felony counts: five counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill; one count of cruelty toward a child, abuse of a child without great bodily harm; weapon offense use, display of a weapon during a felony while under indictment and a misdemeanor charge of a weapon offense, exhibiting a firearm or dangerous weapon. The accused is being held at the Marion County Jail on $80,000 bond.

A Terrifying Scenario

At 9.59 p.m. on Sept. 27, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call, a disturbance involving a firearm. Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, one of the victims advised the responding deputy, that the accused was inside of the dwelling and was in possession of a shotgun and had another resident of the home with him.

The victim also made law enforcement aware that the accused had fired his shotgun and had pointed the firearm at each one of the victims, threatening them, a story corroborated by all of the victims, with the exception of one, who was too traumatized to talk…
