A Leesburg man was arrested for battery after allegedly hitting his wife in the face and pushing her to the ground during an argument.
An officer responded to a battery at an undisclosed Leesburg residence around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department. Dispatch advised that 36-year-old Adam Douglas Konczal threw his wife on the ground and struck her in the face.
Upon arrival, the officer found the wife outside in front of the residence. She had gone to Taco Bell with Konczal, and they got into an argument when they got home. He struck her in the face, causing her to get upset, the report said.
She got out of the vehicle and slammed the passenger door into a deep freezer, damaging the vehicle. He went to look at it, got upset and pushed her to the ground. She immediately separated herself from him and called the authorities, the report said…
