A Fruitland Park man was arrested after allegedly pointing a shotgun at his neighbor and threatening to shoot during an argument.
Officers responded to an aggravated assault at 3911 Picciola Road around 9:05 p.m. Saturday, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department. Upon arrival, they saw 28-year-old Tyler Jacob Donahue with his hands on the hood of a white pickup truck parked in the driveway. For safety reasons, he was handcuffed while an officer spoke with a neighbor.
The neighbor advised that he and his girlfriend had just come home from the grocery store when they had a disagreement about how much money they spent. Donahue was on his back porch, overheard the argument and told them to shut up. The neighbor yelled back, asking who he was talking to, the report said.
Donahue replied he was talking to them as he walked around the side of his house to the front yard. He called the neighbor’s girlfriend fat and threatened to “knock her out.” The neighbor then walked toward the grassy area between the two houses while cursing at Donahue, the report said…
