A Coleman man was arrested after being stopped at 7-Eleven with a suspended license and an expired registration.
An officer observed 32-year-old Lestettis Requal Caruthers driving a black Kia Soul northbound on U.S. 301 around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. A check of the tag revealed the registration expired on Sept. 21.
Seeing this, the officer stopped the vehicle in the 7-Eleven parking lot, located at 4076 E CR 462. He then asked Requal Caruthers for his driver’s license, but he stated he did not have license due to never being issued one, the report said.
A check of his criminal history confirmed he had only been issued an ID card. He also had a prior conviction for driving while license suspended on April 29, 2022, and three failures to appear, the report said…
