A Leesburg woman was arrested for battery after allegedly pushing and punching her husband during an argument over “relationship problems.”
An officer conducted a welfare check on the husband of 23-year-old Lyric Destiny Brown at an undisclosed Leesburg residence around 8:50 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
The husband advised that he and Brown had been arguing, and she had gotten physical in the past. She pushed him multiple times the day before and punched him in his face. He did not report the incident at the time, nor was it witnessed by anyone, the report said.
Due to this, the officer spoke to Brown who stated they often argued over “relationship problems.” She admitted their disagreements had become physical in the past and described pushing her husband twice the day before.
