A pair of teens was charged with theft after they admitted to discussing stealing some things while in the Halloween section at Walmart.
An officer responded to Walmart, located at 2501 Citrus Blvd., regarding a theft in progress around 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, according to a case report from the Leesburg Police Department. Upon arrival, he met with loss prevention who had 18-year-old Antonio Markus Lines of Leesburg and 18-year-old Ariana Lopez of Tavares detained in their office.
Loss prevention advised that they came into the store together and went to the cosmetics department. They looked around in multiple directions as if to avoid being noticed before Lines picked up several things to put in a bag. He and Lopez then moved to aisles in the clearance section where they put more items into their bags, the report said…
