An enraged father was arrested for assault after allegedly throwing a knife at his son during an argument over eating on the couch.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving 54-year-old Timothy Sean Manning and his son at an undisclosed Leesburg residence around 4:10 p.m. Sunday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
The son advised that he and Manning had been arguing just before the officers arrived. During this, he “talked back” to his father and threw a cup of milk toward him. The milk did not hit him, but it did make him angry, the report said.
Manning proceeded to grab a kitchen knife and chase his son around the house. He allegedly cocked his arm back and threw the knife at his son’s head. He was able to duck, and the knife hit a portable fan, the report said…
