Developer seeking final decision on 190 units at Ocala site previously approved for 140

A property owner is asking county officials to allow 190 units and 225,000 square feet of commercial space at a site in northwest Ocala that was previously approved for the construction of 140 townhomes and single-family units, and 100,000 square feet of commercial space.

On Tuesday, the Marion County Board of County Commissioners will vote on a rezoning request from Castro Plaza, LLC, and Austin International Realty, LLC, for the site in northwest Ocala.
