When I moved here 10 years ago there wasn’t the populous surrounding The Villages. The people that think the outsiders support the restaurants and bars are nuts! Every restaurant and bars were full every day and night. They were not hurting for business. We who have lived here 10+ years now have to go to dinner at 3:00 just to able to eat dinner, and we’re the ones that have to sit in the streets to hear the groups in the square. If I would have known this is the way The Villages has turned out to be I would have never moved here. And don’t even get me started about the snowbirds and the classes in all the rec centers. If anyone asks me how I like it in The Villages I discourage them with the truth!
