Wildwood woman wanted on battery warrant found with fentanyl in her purse

A Wildwood woman has been tracked down on a battery warrant and is facing additional charges after fentanyl was found in her purse.

On July 11, officers responded to a physical disturbance involving 38-year-old Sissy Anniealisha Thomas at 603 Peters St., according to a report from the Wildwood Police Department.

The female victim advised that she and Thomas got into an argument over financial issues the night before. When it was over, she thought the “beef” was done and went to visit a friend, who lived with Thomas, the next day. But as she went up to the front door, Thomas got out of her vehicle, punched her twice in the head and pulled her to the ground, the report said.

She could not defend herself due to a prior injury to her right hand. She yelled about calling the police, and Thomas fled the scene. She sustained a fresh scratch mark on the left side of her neck from the altercation, the report said…
