I’ve longed to move back to Ocala since I left 12 years ago, but it doesn’t sound the same

I moved away from Ocala in 2013 and have longed to be back for most of the 12 years I’ve been away.

I follow the news online daily and I truly grieve for what Ocala and Marion County once were.

I read about the indecent building of apartment complexes and “communities” and wonder if there is any of the old charm left?…
