A Groveland man was arrested for driving with a suspended license after stopping over a stop bar.
An officer observed 34-year-old Timothy Lee King driving a silver Ford sedan southbound on McCormack Street around 10:50 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
As the vehicle approached the intersection with Center Street, it stopped over the stop bar. It then turned east onto Center Street where the officer conducted a traffic stop, the report said.
A subsequent check of King’s driving history showed he did not have a valid license. It had been revoked in 2014 and suspended three times in 2017. He also had two prior convictions for driving while license suspended in July 2014 and April 2017, meaning he was aware it had been suspended, the report said…
