The Sumter County School District has announced Brady Kline from The Villages Charter High School as its nominee for the 2025 Sunshine State Scholar program.
This annual recognition, provided by the Florida Department of Education, honors one outstanding 11th-grade student from each district who demonstrates exceptional academic achievement, leadership and innovation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, commonly referred to as STEM.
Kline was selected based on his exemplary academic record and demonstrated passion for STEM fields. He will represent Sumter County at the annual Sunshine State Scholars program in Orlando, where top students from across Florida are brought together to network, explore higher education opportunities and connect with state-leading industries focused on scientific and technological advancement.
