A fresh face is set to be appointed to the most powerful board in The Villages.
Bobby Hoopfer has submitted his resignation and is stepping down as a supervisor on the Village Center Community Development District Board. Hoopfer, who has worked for many years as the head of Commercial Property Management in The Villages and was appointed to the VCCDD board in 2020, has recommended that Tyler Counts be appointed to replace him.
